Technical Advantage
Multi target collaboration
Simultaneously acting on multiple metabolic regulatory targets, exerting synergistic therapeutic effects that are superior to single target drugs.
Innovation Connection Sub
The independently developed flexible/rigid linker library ensures the independent folding and functional expression of each structural domain of the fusion protein.
Long term integration
Can be combined with UKLong technology to achieve multi-target and long-lasting effects.
High expression level
The fusion protein is highly expressed in Escherichia coli and combined with UKFold refolding technology to reduce production costs.
Structural stability
Improve the stability and anti aggregation ability of fusion proteins through molecular design and sequence optimization.
Flexible Customization
Platform based design can quickly construct fusion proteins with different target combinations, accelerating the discovery of new drugs.
Technical Principles
Fusion protein technology uses genetic engineering to connect two or more protein coding sequences with different functions and express them as a single polypeptide chain. The UKFusion platform focuses on solving key issues such as correct folding, functional retention, and stability of fusion proteins.
The platform has established a standardized method for designing and optimizing connectors, and determined the optimal connector length and composition through computational simulation and experimental verification; At the same time, a specialized process for fusion protein expression and refolding has been developed to ensure that all functional domains can fold correctly and exert biological activity.

Application Achievements
UKFusion technology has successfully constructed multiple dual target and triple target fusion proteins, including GLP-1/GIP dual receptor agonists, GLP-1/glucagon dual target fusion proteins, etc., which have shown better hypoglycemic and weight loss effects than single target drugs in animal experiments.
The first innovative dual target fusion protein drug has completed preclinical research and is about to submit an IND application, which is expected to become a new generation of metabolic disease treatment drugs.
